The brief was to create images showcasing new premium packaged product for Sainsbury's Summer press pack and website. Evoking the feel of casual Mediterranean summer dining, there was consistency in the look and feel of the lighting and several visual elements running through all the images to ensure they sat well together as a group. Careful attention was also given to composition to give flexibility to crop for different uses. I was responsible for taking the original brief and developing the visual style, PPM creation and the creative direction of the shoot, including set build. I was also responsible for briefing and overseeing the food stylist, prop stylist and photographer on set and as well as marking up and checking the images for retouching in post-production.
